Mindful Thinking – Remember…
- Understanding the nature of wandering thoughts: The mindfulness journey involves acknowledging that the mind’s tendency to wander is natural. The goal is to notice when the mind drifts and gently bring it back to the present moment without judgment.
- Focused attention and broader perspective: Mindfulness involves focused attention (like a laser beam) and the ability to perceive a wider perspective (like a floodlight). Balancing these is crucial for a well-rounded mindfulness practice.
