The Principles of Yoga in Self-Compassion Mastery
Yoga embodies the essence of mindfulness and self-compassion by encouraging us to cultivate a deeper connection with our bodies and minds. Each pose invites us to be present, fostering awareness of our physical sensations, thoughts, and emotions without judgment. This practice teaches us to honour our limits and embrace our unique journeys, nurturing a compassionate relationship with ourselves.
Focusing on our breath and movement allows us to let go of self-criticism and negative thoughts, creating space for healing and growth. Through yoga, we learn that self-compassion is not just an idea but a tangible experience, enabling us to respond to life’s challenges with kindness and grace.
